The Robotics Workshop: Building the Future

An innovative extracurricular program that introduced students to the world of engineering, programming, and creative problem-solving.

The Challenge

Within the standard curriculum, students had limited opportunities to apply their knowledge of mathematics and physics in practical, collaborative projects. The need was to create a space where theory would come to life through building and experimentation.

The Solution and Process

We launched a weekly robotics workshop, structured into three distinct phases:

  • Fundamentals: Weeks 1-4 were dedicated to basic electronics and programming logic using visual platforms.
  • Design and Construction: Over the next 6 weeks, teams of 3-4 students designed and assembled mobile robots to complete a series of missions.
  • Testing and Optimization: The final stage involved intensive testing, debugging, and improvement sessions of the models before the final presentation.

Results and Impact

  • 1 High Engagement: 98% of participants completed the entire program, demonstrating exceptional motivation.
  • 2 Skill Development: Significant improvement in teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, observed by teaching staff.
  • 3 Final Product: 8 functional robot prototypes were presented at the School's Annual Exhibition, attracting appreciation from the community and parents.
